6 Years off grid so far..
Posted 27 May 2023
In June 2017 we purchased a Mitsubishi Rosa bus. We spent 3 months for 6 days a week converting it from a school bus to a motor home. The plan was to travel Australia with our 2 young children indefinitely which we set out to do.
In March 2020 we were forced to make our way back to Queensland just prior to the border closures and lock-downs.
Like so many people over the last 2-3 years our lives have changed dramatically and we have had to adjust and redirect our energy into new projects. We still live in our Rosa bus 'Ruby'.
Learning curves
These days any knowledge we have of living off grid and self-sufficiency is a direct result of a desire to be as independent from the mainstream as possible. Our own learning curve has been fueled by necessity and fed by personal experience. We hope that any hiccups along the way now place us in a position to help others avoid some of the pitfalls we encountered.
Call us for chat!
Although our business focus is on helping people with solar energy production this is only one component of natural and off-grid living. We are always happy to receive calls and emails with questions and suggestions unrelated to solar. If you are a 'newbie' to this life get in touch. Inquiries about off grid solar are of course most welcome!
Natural Living Podcast & Magazine
We will shortly launch and host a regular podcast where we will discuss a broad range of subjects related to natural living including interviews with our favorite knowledgeable people.
In the next few months we hope to launch a print magazine dedicated to all things related to off-grid and natural living. It will begin distribution across Queensland to our rapidly growing tribe.
If you are interested in joining us as an advertiser or sponsor for either the podcast or magazine please reach out to discuss options.
